Bravo to our Summer fundraising heroes

03/09/2025

The Summer holidays is the quietest time of year at Reverse Rett. With children off school it’s one big juggling act and when you put a child with Rett syndrome into the mix it’s a miracle we all survive to tell the tale.

It’s safe to say that fundraising by taking on a challenge or holding an event is not at the top of anyone’s agenda.

Yet, we have been blessed to have supporters who have found a way to keep the money coming in allowing us to keep going full steam ahead with our mission.

Below are a selection of our Summer heroes, thank you to everyone that has stepped up when you may well have had other things to do!

Ted has been getting sponsored to catch fish in honour of his sister, Nancy
Group Metropolitan on their 2 day challenge in Snowdonia inspired by and including Lily
Kelly and son, Jayden ran the Messy Dash for Mya
Dan and Katherine held ‘Lucyfest’ in Portsmouth for their daughter, Lucy
Shannamarie, her family and friends held a fundraiser at the Fox & Flowerpot for her daughter, Ellismae
