Ultra Event Challenges are BACK ON and there’s never been a better or more important time to get out there!
Starting in May, fourteen fantastic events will run throughout the year, across the UK, suitable for all.
All challenges have walk, jog and run options, plus different distance choices, so whatever your experience or level, there’s something for you!
Action Challenge were the first organisation to run a mass participation challenge safely in 2020 and are now the benchmark for Covid19-safe events in the year ahead. Read more here.
All events include full hospitality and support, with medals, t-shirts and glasses of bubbly for all finish-liners!

22nd/23rd May Jurassic Coast Challenge: walk, jog or run 25k, 50k or 100k across the spectacular Jurassic Coast – a World Heritage Site. Two-day ‘daylight’ options with half-way camping available.
29th/30th May London to Brighton Challenge: walk, jog or run 25k, 50k, 100k, setting out from Richmond and finishing on the beautiful Brighton coast. Two day 100k ‘daylight’ and camping options.
5th June London Summer Walk: walk, jog or run full or half marathon routes through the capital, starting and finishing at The Oval. BBQ food and drink at the finish line!
12th/13th June Lake District Challenge: walk, jog or run 25k, 50k or 100k, looping from beautiful Kendal across some of England’s finest scenery. Two-day ‘daylight’ 100km and camping options available.
25th/26th June Cotswold Way Challenge: walk, jog or run 25k, 50k or 100k through the stunning Cotswold Way. Two-day 100km ‘daylight’ with half-way camping option.
3rd/4th July Peak District Challenge: walk. jog or run 25k, 50k or 100k across the fabulous Peak District National Park. Two day ‘daylight’ and camping options.
10th/11th July Isle of Wight Challenge: walk, jog or run 106km ‘full island’ challenge, with quarter and half-distance options. Two-day ‘daylight’ option plus camping available.
17th/18th July Yorkshire Challenge: wak. jog or run 25k, 50k or 100k through some of the UK’s most unexplored landscapes, starting and finishing in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Two-day ‘daylight’ and camping options.
24th/25th July South West Coast2Coast Challenge: walk, jog or run 25k, 50k or 100k across England’s South West Peninsular. Two-day full ‘daylight’ option and camping options.
4th/5th September South Coast Challenge: walk, jog or run 25k, 50k or 100k setting out from Eastbourne along the South Downs Way National Trail and finishing in Arundel. Two-day ‘daylight’ and camping options.
11th September Thames Bridges Trek: walk, jog or run 25kms through the capital, crossing its array of historic bridges. Finish-line celebration in Southwark past the majestic Tower Bridge!
11th/12th September Thames Path Challenge: walk, jog or run 25k, 50k or 100k along England’s greatest river, from Putney Bridge to Henley. Two day ‘daylight’ and camping options.
25th September Chiltern 50 Challenge: walk, jog or run 25k/50k over the Chilterns countryside. BBQ and entertainment for the Saturday night celebration, plus camping options.
30th October London Halloween Walk: 10k, half or full marathon around London’s spooky streets and horror hot spots, starting and finishing at The Oval. Eerie overnight option for the marathon routes!
