Whilst every month is Rett Syndrome Awareness month at Reverse Rett, October is always a reason for families like ours us to relax a little bit, as for once we have a perfect excuse to spam friends and family with information about our cause!
But Rett Syndrome Awareness month isn’t just about information; it’s also about action. This October, we invite you to take action however you can, not just telling people about Rett Syndrome but demonstrating your will to do something about it. Here are some ways to get involved:
Reverse Rett Global Run/Walk
Join teams across the UK and around the globe taking part in the 4th Annual Reverse Rett Global Run. It’s £15 to enter, or £10 each for a team of ten. You can do the 5K however you choose, walking, running, cycling or even swimming and on any day in October and receive a bespoke wooden medal for your efforts. Don’t forget to send us your pictures to share on social media.
