What can you do?

14/01/2022

January is always a time for looking forward and setting resolutions for the year ahead. If one of yours is to support Reverse Rett in honour of someone you care about, then now is a great time to draw a line in the sand and make a commitment.

Our supporters have already started. Sixty-seven year old George Ferguson is doing his first fundraiser for Reverse Rett by climbing Ben A’an, inspired by Emilia.

Jessie Hall is part of a group of mums who are aiming to improve their fitness during January in honour of her daughter, Katie.

Finlay Smith is running 100k this month for his wee cousin, Sophie up in East Lothian.

There are others too like Daisy’s family who are putting together a team to do the Great Birmingham Run in May. Just Giving pages are being created and after two years of organised events being cancelled it finally feels like 2022 will be a great year for Community Fundraising.

People coming together and doing what they can is the very fabric of Reverse Rett and is what has helped us keep moving forward over the past 12 years.

If you need any help getting started or are interested in finding out more about what you could do then please contact [email protected] or on 0161 413 0585.

With Gene Therapy clinical trials due to start in 2022 we enter the New Year with not only hope but expectation too.
