Winter Gala News!

27/09/2021

We are absolutely delighted that the 11th Reverse Rett London Gala Event will take place on Friday 3rd December 2021 at the stunning venue of Church House, in the heart of Westminster.

Taking place after an immensely challenging two years, this event will finally bring us together once again for a long-awaited and much-needed festive celebration of hope, resilience and reunion.

Punctuating the elegant drinks reception and sumptuous three-course dinner will be first-class comedy, stunning visual illusions, mind-blowing magic, original live music and roof-raising medleys!

For the first time ever, we are also hugely excited to be inviting guests to join us from home, enjoying the fantastic line-up via a live-stream and having the opportunity to be part of all the energy and excitement of this special night.

Our annual London Gala is always a key moment in our calendar, but never more so than this year. After the challenges we have all faced during the pandemic, this event is an opportunity to reflect on the incredible resilience and strength within the Rett community and to look forward with renewed hope and determination to the exciting landscape ahead.

And it IS exciting. At a time when gene therapy clinical trials are on the horizon; when here in London the CIPP Rett Centre continues to deliver world-class health management and critical research; when we no longer speak of ‘finding’ a cure but about how to deliver it to all those with Rett: this is a time for hope and commitment.

We are therefore especially delighted to have the support and sponsorship of Taysha Gene Therapies for this year’s event:

The passion and dedication of the patient community drives truly innovative science and tremendous progress toward a treatment for individuals with Rett Syndrome. Taysha is grateful to be a part of such an amazing community.” Emily McGinnis, MPH, Chief Patient Officer and Head of Government Affairs, Taysha Gene Therapies.

Rachael Stevenson, Reverse Rett CEO, adds: “Our deep appreciation to Taysha Gene Therapies for their support of the Winter Gala. We look forward to a continued strong relationship as we move into a new and critical era for everyone who cares about a person with Rett.”
