Easy ways to help

21/10/2020

Despite the country opening up, fundraising still hasn’t begun in earnest again so in the meantime here’s some easy ways to help Reverse Rett without leaving the house.

Paypal now allow you to donate to a charity of your choice when making a purchase. Simply login to your PayPal account and look for the box that says ‘make an impact’. Choose Reverse Rett as your favourite charity (listed under the ‘health & medical’ category if you need to search), then with every transaction you make, you’ll see a tick box underneath the amount that you can simply tick to make a donation of £1 whenever you wish to. You can also use the platform to make one-off donations for any amount of your choice, again by selecting Reverse Rett and hitting the donate button on the charity profile page.

Give As You Live and Easy Fundraising allow you to shop online with over 4,000 stores, giving a % of what you spend to the charity you choose. They’re free to sign up, no hidden costs and really easy to use.

Amazon Smile donates 0.5% of your eligible purchases to the charity of your choice. Same products, same prices, same delivery as Amazon, just with a charity donation thrown in.

Pledjar is a new mobile app through which you can simply and securely connect your bank account, round-up your transactions and pass on your ‘spare change’ to research.

All of us at Reverse Rett and many of our friends and family have signed up to the above and we can already see the £££ adding up, just from doing the things we’d all be doing anyway!

If you know of any other simple ways of daily fundraising, please drop me an email at [email protected], I’d love to hear from you and add your easy ways to help, to ours!
