“Mon Then!” Reverse Rett Beer now Available

05/05/2021

Winton Brewery have been supporting Reverse Rett since 2017. They are an award winning brewery based in East Lothian though they have a strong customer base throughout the UK.

Sales from their latest beer will help Rett Syndrome research with 10% of all profits going to Reverse Rett.

Director, Steve Holligan, tells us more, “For as long as we have had the brewery the plan has always been to help Reverse Rett raise awareness and funds.

Even though it’s taken a wee bit longer than planned, we have created (arguably!) our best beer yet! We are delighted to launch “Mon Then!” our deliciously good NEIPA (New England IPA) with 10% of profits going directly to Reverse Rett.

My beautiful niece, Eliza, has Rett Syndrome and I have seen first hand the difficulties this can entail, I’ve also and more importantly watched the immense joy a beautiful Sister, Daughter, Niece, Grandchild, Cousin can bring to a family. Eliza has fought many battles and she is genuinely one of the most resilient, happy and smiley people in our lives.

Reverse Rett is fundamentally important to many people and the support they offer is incredible. We just want to do our wee bit to help and hopefully together we can find a cure.”

Andy Stevenson, co-founder and clinical trial lead at Reverse Rett said, “Most people love a beer so this is a great way to make yourself feel good by drinking beer (in moderation) whilst supporting Reverse Rett.

“Mon Then!” can be used in Scots as a challenge to fight, and fighting Rett is what we do!

Huge thanks to Steve and David at Winton Brewery for their ongoing support. Although I don’t drink I will sample “Mon Then” as it’s for a great cause, it would be rude not to.”

Mon then! can be purchased directly from the Winton Brewery online shop  You can also like their Facebook page and please let the boys know what you think of their new creation by tagging @wintonbrewery on social media.
