The Willow Foundation: Treats for adults with Rett! 

Last month one of our Bitesize sessions featured a number of charities who provide various fantastic services for people with disabilities. Many of these organisations cater for children, but The Willow Foundation is a wonderful charity which provides treat boxes and special days and experiences for adults with disabilities (a bit like ‘Make-A-Wish’ but for over 18-yr-olds!) 

 
Beverley from The Willow Foundation spoke about the kinds of days and experiences they can offer, as well as a new bespoke ‘treat box’ initiative they’ve introduced during the pandemic. We’ve been delighted to speak with Beverley since the session and to arrange treat boxes for some of the adults within our community already.
